Modified on Tue, 23 Jan at 8:41 PM

To hide categories of products for specific user roles using bulk product editing, follow these steps:

  1. Filter Products by Category: Start by filtering the products you want to modify by a specific category. This can typically be done in your product management area, where you can filter products based on categories:

  1. Select Bulk Actions "Edit": After filtering the products, look for the option to perform bulk actions. Usually, you will find a checkbox near the products, and a dropdown menu labeled "Bulk Actions." Click on "Edit" from this dropdown:

  1. Mark User Roles: Within the bulk editing interface, you will likely see various options you can apply to the selected products. Look for the option related to user roles or category visibility. Mark the checkbox next to the user role(s) for which you want to hide the selected category:

  1. Save Changes: Once you've marked the user roles, proceed to save the changes or update the products. This action will hide the selected category of products for the specified user role(s).
